The Qualification Checker is a tool that helps you figure out if a person is ready to join the MBA programme. It looks at their school results, work experience, and other qualifications, then tells you which pathway they might qualify for.
Think of it like a helper that does the hard work of checking rules for you. You put in the person's information, and it gives you a clear answer about what they can do next.
Click Add Qualificationand fill in the person's school results. Start from their oldest qualification (like high school) and work your way up to their most recent one (like a university degree).
You can add as many qualifications as you need. The system will use the most important one to make its decision.
Tell the system about the person's job. This helps figure out if they have enough experience for certain pathways.
This is where you check if the person's qualification is officially approved. Click each section to fill in what you find.
Go to the MQR website and search for the person's programme. If you find it, fill in the details. This checks if the school programme is approved by the Malaysian government.
Look for: Is the programme listed? Is it accredited? What level of accreditation? (PA means Provisional, FA means Full)
If the person does not have a university degree, check if their diploma or certificate is at Level 4 or higher. Use the MYRQ website to check.
If the person has a professional certificate (like ACCA, CIMA, or similar), check our internal database to see what level it is equivalent to.
If the person studied in another country, check the eSisraf website to see if their school or programme is listed. If not, you may need to check the school's accreditation in their home country.
After checking all sections, set the Overall Recognition Status at the bottom:
Click Run Assessment. The system will look at everything you entered and give you a clear result:
If you are happy with the result, click Save to Leadto save it to the person's file.
The person has a recognised degree with a good grade. They can join the MBA programme right away.
The person has a degree, but we need to check a few more things before they can join. This might mean an interview or extra review.
The person's degree is in a different field, but they have lots of work experience. They may still qualify.
The person needs to take a short course first before they can join the MBA.
The person is 30 years or older and has work experience but no university degree. They can apply through the APEL A T7 process (which assesses prior experiential learning for admission to MQF Level 7 programmes).
The person is not ready for the MBA yet. They should start with the RPEL programme first to build up their qualifications.
The system is not sure about the qualification. You need to send this case to the Registrar for them to check.
The person does not meet the requirements. This could be because their qualification is not recognised, they are too young for APEL.A, or the school is not approved.
