Rich Text Editor

Overview

The email body and cover letter body now use a rich text editor with a formatting toolbar. You can format your text visually without writing any HTML.

Toolbar Buttons

Button	What It Does
B	Bold: makes text thicker and darker
I	Italic: slants the text
U	Underline: adds a line under the text
H2	Heading: makes text larger as a section heading
• List	Bullet list: creates a list with bullet points
1. List	Numbered list: creates an ordered list
🔗	Link: inserts a clickable link

Inserting Variables

Below the editor, you will see a row of Insert buttons with names like {{name}}, {{program}}, etc. Click any of these to insert a placeholder at your cursor position. These placeholders are automatically replaced with actual data when the study plan is generated or the email is sent.

Variable placeholders are highlighted with a burgundy background in the editor so you can easily spot them.

Tips

Press Enter to create a new paragraph
Press Shift+Enter to create a line break without a new paragraph
Highlight text first, then click a toolbar button to apply formatting
The cover letter closing field still uses plain text, so use Enter for line breaks
