Email Setup

What You Need

To send study plans by email, you need to set up your email details in your Settings page. You will need:

• Your email address
• A special password (called an App Password for Gmail)
• Your email provider's server details

Setting Up Gmail (Recommended)

Step 1: Turn on 2-Step Verification

1. Go to your Google Account Security page
2. Turn on 2-Step Verification if it is not already on

Step 2: Create an App Password

1. Go to Google App Passwords page
2. Select Mail as the app
3. Select Other and type "Study Plan Generator"
4. Click Generate
5. Copy the 16-character password it gives you

Step 3: Enter the Details in Settings

1. Go to Settings
2. Find the Email Settings section
3. Fill in these details:

Step 4: Test It

1. Enter your own email address in the "Test Email" box
2. Click Send Test
3. Check your inbox for the test email
